Amateur trainer and driver Barb Barry will represent Australia next month at the Harness Racing Amateur Drivers World Championship in Hungary.
Barry has since been involved in harness racing for several but is eligible to compete in the Amateur Drivers World Championship as she is a hobby trainer/driver who does not derive her main income from harness racing.
It was revealed recent in the Courier Mail that Barry will pay her own way to Budapest for next month’s championship and can’t wait to represent Australia.
Drivers from Argentina, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland and the USA will compete in six races over two days for points to decide the winner.
Harnessbred.com wishes Barb Barry the best of luck and we will update the championships next month.
