Plainridge Park in NA was today the seen for 2 Aussie mares to fight out for the victory in the $20,000 purse race for mares and fillies
The winner, Massive Attack is a N10 family Mare by Advanced Attack (Courage Under fire’s Full Brother) out of a Badlands Hanover mare called Dancing With Fire.
Although Dancing on Fire didn’t set the world on fire on the track what we do know is that Badlands Hanover Blood has been very strong in this family with horses like Umoja winner of more
than $225,000 and Nicky Hanover with earnings of $150,230.
The 2nd mare across the line was the Vicbred bred mare Chilled Desire a daughter of Real Desire out of a mare by Chill Factor (Artsplace’s full brother)
We run a story about this mare back in August https://baringbloodstock.com.au/five-runners-in-two-days-for-vallelonga/ when she was still racing for Vince Vallelonga
Again, it’s a little sad to see these mares lost to AUS/NZ
