BB1 jason lee 100

We here at Harnessbred.com are always out to promote the young members of our trotting fraternity and this week two young reinspersons took centre stage.

KaelaHyrhorec drove her first lifetime winner at Globe Derby last Monday July 25 and at Terang on Thursday night Jason Lee drove his 100th winner for the season.

Hyrhorec, just 16 years of age, is the niece of South Australian leading reinsman Ryan and fittingly drove her first winner for her uncle on-board four-year-old pacer Quagmire, which despite working early proved far too strong for its rivals.

Quagmire has now won both his starts since joining Ryan Hryhorec stables.

Jason Lee drove his one hundredth winner for the season on his home track at Terang, on Thursday July 28, for his mum Marg on the roan mare Looks Like Heaven, it was the third leg of a treble for the Lee’s.

Jason who was involved in that heavy fall at Melton a fortnight ago in the Tatlow Stakes, is having a wonderful season and has moved to seventh place on the Victorian State Drivers premiership and is just one win behind Mark Pitt on the Concession Drivers table.
