However, he did match the world record on a half mile track set by Wiggle It Jiggleit, winner of $3,758,157 (the grandson of Badlands Hanover), who is one of the most outstanding racehorses this sport has seen in years. He went 1:49 this time last year.
Betting Line’s dam, Heathers Western, a Western Hanover mare that won $173,102 on the track, looks like she may have saved her best work for the breeding paddock.

Currently of the 155 horses of racing age, this cross has produced 34 progeny that have won more than $100,000 – that’s a strike rate north of 20% and its hard to think leading breeders won’t have more success down the line as I know of 35 more of this cross that aren’t of racing age yet.
Bettors Delight’s overall record is starting to go into our sports “very elite” company and I fear AUS/NZ may never see a stallion of this calibre stand fresh in our countries again.
