Harness Racing Victoria was saddened to hear of the passing of former trainer/driver Gordon Muir following a long battle with illness.
Based in Kyneton, Muir was the quintessential grass roots trotting participant, a good bloke who always had a horse or two in work.
His best horses were Forward Vicstar, with whom he won 5 races and Forward Falcon (the dam of Forward Vicstar) who won 3 races.
HRV sends its condolences to the Muir family.
