2A stellar line-up of WA Jockeys and Reinsmen will take to the track in a race with a difference on Friday night.

Seven of WA’s top hoops will compete against 7 of WA’s leading metropolitan drivers in an exhibition Pony Trot at Gloucester Park.

Ryan Hill, Jarrad Noske, Shaun McGruddy, Brad Parnham, Peter Knuckey, Stephen Parnham and “Dashing” Danny Miller will switch silks for sulkies as they take on Nathan Turvey, Aiden DeCampo, Mark Reed, Gary Hall Jnr, Clinton Hall, Callan Suvaljko and Dylan Egerton-Green.

Danny Miller, 68, is the oldest jockey in Australia and is set to sit behind the oldest racing Pony in WA, Moodshadow, 24. Three time Inter Dominion winning driver Gary Hall Jnr will take the drive behind Cherry Blossom while his brother Clinton will rein Limehill Amy Rose.
