3The race for bragging rights between Victoria and New South Wales in the Teal Pants Fundraising stakes looks set to go right down the wire.

Victoria currently leads the way courtesy of the world’s premier reinswoman Kerryn Manning who has amassed $8,800 from her 22 wins to date.

The women drivers representing the Big V have raised a total of $31,600 from their cumulative tally of 79 wins.

Gun reinswoman Natalie Rasmussen heads the leader board in NSW and of course wore the teal pants when she created history partnering superstar pacer Have Faith In Me to victory in the Miracle Mile returning an Australasian race record time of 1:47.5.

The ladies from NSW have driven a combined total of 75 wins raising $30,000 for the Women’s Cancer Foundation-Ovarian Cancer Fund.

Both states have raised $62,000 from 155 wins in the teal pants.

The Teal Pants Championship culminates at the Great Southern Star race meeting at Tabcorp Park Melton on Saturday night.
