SIBLING rivalry will be at a premium at Globe Derby on Saturday night.

Not only will brothers Culture King and Artillery clash in the Italian Cup, their trainer, Paul Cavallaro, will also compete against his sister, Angela Chapman.

Chapman will be represented in the feature by Wrangler, which was previously trained by Cavallaro.

Boasting three wins and a third from his last five starts, Artillery is the one to beat between the three after drawing to settle forward from barrier two.

Runner-up behind Artillery at two of his last four outings, Culture King has also drawn well in gate three.

The son of Art Major was victorious two starts ago in the absence of his younger brother.

As for Wrangler, the ever consistent veteran is likely to gain the run of the race from the pole.

“My two have had a freshen up since their last run about five weeks ago,” Cavallaro said. “They spent 10 days in the water walker and have come up well

“I took them to trials last Saturday and they are right up to the mark.

“Whatever they do this week they will improve on, but on their track work they are going well and I’d be shocked if they don’t run good races.

“Artillery should probably find the front and be hard to beat.

“Wrangler is going well for Angie and it is the best draw he has had in ages. He’s also first-up, but he trialled well and will be in a good spot from there.”
