Leading trainer Gary Hall announced big plans for Changeover’s best son Run Oneover after he broke a track record in winning the Members’ Sprint (1730m) tonight.
Changeover who served big numbers in his first couple of seasons has had resurgence in Australia with his stock winning in all states. Nevele R is yet to announce his 2016 fee but one thing is for sure Australian breeders could do much worse that match their mare with the son of In The Pocket.
Gary Hall senior said of Run Oneover”He’ll have a brief winter campaign and then be set for the Inter Dominion here later this year,” “I think he’s good enough to be competitive in the Inters.”he added.
Run Oneover ($1.20) led and rated 1:52.5 to score by 4m. His stablematesWaylade ($4.90) and NorvicNightowl ($18.60) finished second and third to give Hall a trifecta.
The Hall-trained Classic American had held the Gloucester Park 1730m record since rating 1:52.6 last year.
