THE NSW Racing Minister Mr. Troy Grant today confirmed the appointment of a new Board Member for Harness Racing NSW while re-appointing three others.
Robyn Stubbs is the new member with Rod Smith, Alex Smith and Graham Kelly returning for another term.
Robyn’s executive career spans more than 25 years in senior sales and marketing roles in the media and property sectors. Robyn has worked for companies including Stockland, Lend Lease, Fairfax, Network Ten and Unilever.
Currently Robyn is a Non-Executive Director of Aventus, an ASX-listed property company with 15 large format retail centres around Australia. Prior to joining Aventus, Robyn spent eight years with Stockland as a General Manager and was a Director on the Board of the Shopping Centre Council of Australia.
Harness Racing NSW Chief Executive John Dumesny stated the new Board would see the sport continue to prosper.
“It is pleasing that the Government has seen fit to reinstate three strong contributors in Alex, Graham and Rod,” Mr Dumesny said.
“Now with the addition of Robyn Stubbs, whose credentials are impeccable, the future of Harness Racing in this state is reinforced.
“Chris Edwards completes the Board and his experience is well known.”

The Board Members will meet to elect a Chairperson later this month.
