With a staggering $3.25M on offer, buying at auction can be just as exciting as winning a race. And with around 600 yearlings to be sold at APG’s auctions this year around Australia, now is the time. The horses are old enough to be assessed by you and your team of advisers (vet, trainer, bloodstock agent) for conformation etc, but have not been broken in, so their racing ability has not yet been exposed or tarnished.

Champion racehorses can come from humble backgrounds, but are more likely to be found at APG sales where yearlings are selected on pedigree and conformation and are considered the ‘cream of the crop’.
