Allwood Studs resident stallion Parsons Den has the knack of finding a good horse each season and he may have just found another one in Tasmanian 3 year old Denza Doozy.
Denza Doozy kept his perfect record intact when he led for most of the way to take out the Max Cormack Stakes at Devonport on Sunday night.
Denza Doozy, has now won at his only three starts, is raced by his breeder Marc Panton, and was driven by trainer Rohan Hillier. Denza Doozy is out Tantallon, a winning daughter of Time Stand Still. Tantallon has also produced the dual Group 3 winner Nola Mayhem, winner of the 2013 Bandbox Stakes and the 2014 Granny Smith Stakes. Tantallons other foal, the very fast Paris of Pisa, won two of her only three starts as a two year old.
Parsons Den a son of Dragons Lair offers a perfect outcross to most colonial bred mares he has an amazing percentage record of winners to runners having sired 127 winners from 225 starters.
Best of his progeny is Amongst Royalty winner 23 races and over half a million in stake money,
Parsons Den has sired 11 $100,000 of which 5 have won $200,000 plus.
He is also making his mark as a broodmare sire with 53 winners from 90 starters including Major Catastrophe the winner of 23 races and $319,007 in prize money.
In Denza Doozy Parsons Den may just have unearthed a new star.
