The lightly raced filly, Park Life (that has given so much pleasure to her owners and followers), is back on a truck headed for Queensland to go back in work after getting the all clear from her veterinarian’s earlier today.

Park Life has only had 6 starts, however, she has banked a very impressive $168,329 for a filly purchased for only $16,000 from the Brisbane APG sales just 2 years ago.

I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the Dickson family just after her win last year & this was priceless.

It was a great moment for this sport to watch her QLD connections (trainer and driver) when she took out the Group 1 Filly’s final at Menangle last year.  The joy, excitement, and the emotions seeing Wayne and Lyne Graham have their son Shane bring her home will never be lost on me.

Park Life is far from being labelled as a big mare and it’s this asset of being small and light that gives the best hope that this injury is now well and truly past her.

This Sunday the APG Yearling sale will give us all a similar opportunity to find a super mare like Park Life without breaking the bank.

Please see the clip below of that wonderful night from last year at Menangle.
