SATURDAY night racing is back in full swing this weekend at Tabcorp Park Menangle with a strong nine-race card, highlighted by a couple of Group Three features. Outside of the main races there are some good bets to be had according to Harness Racing New South Wales’ Amanda Rando.
Amanda believes one of the best bets of the night is the Amanda Turnbull-trained-and-driven Tact Tate in Race Two. The four-year-old gelding put together a handful of wins when first arriving in Australia for Turnbull before finishing a respectful fourth in the Group One Chariots of Fire behind the likes of Miracle Mile star Have Faith In Me.
Meanwhile, in the trot feature of the night, the Group Three Flying Isa Trotters Discretionary Handicap, Amanda thinks Glenferrie Dreamer is a safe each-way bet. With good stand start manners plus a good record over the 2300m around this circuit, the 10m handicap should be no problem for the Group Two winner.
