Reinsman Mark Billinger became just the eleventh person to drive five winners on any South Australian track on BOTRA Golden Nursery night.
Billinger started the night with his super three year old Rap Artist put up an amazing performance after missing the start to claim victory in the BOTRA 3yo colts & geldings final.
Billinger went on to win Alabar Golden Nursery Fillies Final with Our Celebrity for Emma Stewart who also trained Rocknroll Magic (3yo Fillies Final winner) and Metro Mike (who took out the Dash For Cash) Billingers final winner was on trotter Top Of The Rock (by Great Success) trained by Reg Trevean.
Other drivers who have claimed the honour of driving five winners are Kevin Brook who was the first to claim the honour at Port Pirie on January 16, 1958.
Since then Matthew Craven, Jayson Finnis, Kate Gath, Ryan Hryorec, Lance Justice, Ross Sugars, Geoff Webster, Wayne Hill and David Harding have followed suit.
Harding has driven five winners five times.
Billinger has driven four winners quite a few times but now sits in an elite class.
