South East reinsman Jayson Finnis has been selected to represent his state in the Australasian Young Drivers Championship in Perth during the Inter-dominion carnival.

Finniswill be joined by Defending champion Robbie Close will once again represent New Zealand in the 2016 Australasian Young Drivers Championship, with the other representatives being Todd McCarthy from NSW, Jason Lee Victoria, Jayson Finnis South Australia, Wade Rattray Tasmania, Nathan Dawson Queensland, Brad Williamson South Island, Kyle Marshall North Island, and Matt Anderson also representing New Zealand.

Finnis(25) has driven 329 winners in his career which commenced in 2007 and last season he drove 47 from 141 drive.

The series of races across four different tracks with the winner the be decided TABtouch Inter Dominion Grand Final night at Gloucester Park.

The Series will kick off at Gloucester Park on Friday 2 December 2016, followed by two heats at Bunbury the next night, two at Pinjarra on 5 December, two at Northam on 6 December and two at Narrogin on 8 December, before the final heat at Gloucester Park on 9 December.
