Originally run at Roosevelt Raceway in New York from 1959 till it’s closer in 1988 when transferred to Yonkers the race went into recession after the running of the 1995 edition. But Yonkers Raceway announced in 2014 that they would return the International Trot to the racing schedule after a hiatus of almost 20 years the 2015 version was taken out by NorwaysPapagayo E (by Cocktail Jet).
