The draw is a big plus for the Ashlee Grives trained daughter of Gotta Go Cullect and her last victory at Albion Park was when she led throughout after starting from gate two. Steps up in class but from the draw should be very prominent throughout. Looks a good bet in the first race on the night.
Bathurst Race 8 Number 1 Greenngold – Amanda Turnbull and Nathan Jack combine with this son of Mach Three in the final heat of the Gold Crown. Finished down the track on debut at Melton but had excuses and then had no luck last start at Wagga when he drew the inside of the second row. Expect him to be in the finish off the good draw and he looks a strong chance.
Newcastle Race 8 Number 12 Always Bad – Trainer Brad Abbott looks to have found the perfect race for Always Bad with the claim for Jack Trainor. Had a wide draw at Menangle last start and his run was good in much stronger company. Should get a good run through off the back row as he is following out a fast beginner in Playboy President. Has had success in the past at Newcastle and should be hard to stop in the last.
