2The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong ten race program this Saturday night.

Big fields featuring several in-form pacers highlight the program which should have punters finding value throughout the night while the open class event will create plenty of interest with a tactical battle looming in the classy line-up.

A field of nine will take place in the 1660m sprint scamper and the race is littered with stars stepping out including a pair of dual Queensland Horse of the Year winners in Avonnova and Majestic Mach while New Zealand star and two time Group One winner Ohoka Punter makes his Albion Park debut.

With many open class features just around the corner, many of the big name pacers are starting to get warmed up for the carnival ahead.

The multiple feature race winner Majestic Mach has drawn ideally in gate two while Ohoka Punter starts from gate five, Avonnova must overcome a second-line draw.

The Lunchbox Lodge Spelling Farm Pace is race 5 on the program.

Gambling giant UBET are offering a guaranteed $50,000 First 4 on the opening race while a $10,000 jackpot is also slated for the event.

And the opening event has drawn together a competitive field featuring several in-from runners in the 2138m mobile start event.

The Pacman will back-up after scoring a stylish victory on Tuesday and lands the coveted inside gate and looks a real chance of landing back to back victories.

The Grant Dixon prepared pacer is the winner of 5 races at the track.

Other runners that will command plenty of respect include Long Term Fella, Munroe, Shes A Runa, Deano Robyn, Goulburn Guy, Ellmer Hanover, Cold Ideal and Wandary Splash.

A Quadrella jackpot of $8000 is also programmed; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

Again, the quaddie legs look open with several even races assembled meaning punters will get great value.

UBET also have a $10,000 guaranteed trifecta pool slated for race three.

Another highlight is the final two heats of the 2016 BOTRA Queensland Young Drivers Championship, the series kicked off on Wednesday night at Redcliffe and has been keenly contested and that trend looks set to continue this weekend.
