Golden Nugget Championship winner Beaudiene Boaz will tackle Gloucester Park’s $60,000 Village Kid Sprint (1730m) this Friday night at to tune up for a Group 1 cups double.
Trainer Gary Hall senior is confident his stable star was on target for next month’s $300,000 Fremantle Cup (2536m) and the $450,000 WA Pacing Cup.
“He can’t be faulted and the sprint ideally fits his program before the Fremantle Cup on January 8,” Hall told the West Australian.
The Village Kid Sprint has been won by some very good horses since its inception in 1998 when Shattering Class winners include The Falcon Strike, Baltic Eagle, Has The Answers and last year David Hercules.
Already the winner of 19 races and $704,503 in prize money Beaudiene Boaz by Nevele R’s Badlands Hanover will then face his toughest test the WA Pacing Cup over 2936 metres just a week later.
