From a campaign in the Perth inter-dominion to a free for all at Devonport on Tasmania’s North West Coast –trainer Adam Kelly and his stable star Five Star Anvil will line up Sunday in a five horse Free For All around the tight 735 metre circuit.
Five Star Anvil and Kelly are regular visitors to the apple isle in 2014 the son of McArdle made a successful trip across Bass Strait winning the Governors & Metropolitan Cups in Hobart and a second placing in the Devonport Cup.
Drawn in barrier two Five Star Anvil should find the top for driver Rohan Hiller and simply take home first prize of $6700, Kelly also has taken 4 year old mare Stazzz On Icon a daughter of Four Stazzz Shark and after coming off wins at Kilmore & Yarra Valley recently looks the winner of race 8 on the program.
The other main event on the program is the Marathon a standing start event over 2625 meters see’s the return clash of Burnie Cup winners Punt Road Disco ( a son of Real Desire) who won the race on protest from Karalta Dazzler a 5 year old by Stonebridge Regal.
The nine event program starts at 5.46 local time Sunday in the Twlight.
