Trainer Rohan Hillier has revised plans for star three-year-old Ryley Major in the wake of Sunday night’s abandoned Mowbray meeting.
Instead of going to Melbourne this week, which had been an option, he has decided to stay home for the $30,000 Globe Derby Stakes final on June 19.
He will now leave Ryley Major’s interstate campaign until August when the semi-finals of the Breeders Crown are held.
Hillier said he had been considering going to Melbourne for this month’s Vicbred Super Series.
Ryley Major has won his past seven starts in a row and is unbeaten in six appearances this season
