Anthony Butt is in the process of setting up a new boutique stable on Gain Lang’s ols property at Melton and Butt has added fast class pacer Franco Nelson to his team.
The six year old son of Christian Cullen is lightly raced due to being injury plagued and Butt will become the pacers fourth trainer to date in his stop start career.
Franco Nelson had his last start for his present trainer Michael House in the $57,500 Waikato Flying Mile at Cambridge Raceway on Friday night where he was driven by Butt who fly over from Victoria to drive the entire.

Franco Nelson has won 14 times from 44 starts he has travelled to Australia twice before as a 2& 4 year old his first venture he finished third to Bit Of A Legend in the Breeders Crown final, then at 4 he was placed in a heat of the Inters in Sydney before finish fourth behind Guaranteed in the 2014 Chariots of Fire.
