Surfing Queen still has a three-year-old filly by Rock N Roll Heaven, a two year old by colt by Modern Art and a yearling colt by Well Said.
Roses In Paris, the dam of Surfing Queen, has become one of the stars of the stud book. She is the dam of 12 individual winners, including an outstanding mare in Thorninmyside 1:58.9 ($160,666), winner of the SA Oaks, Southern Cross 2YO and 3YO Series and the SA 4YO Sires Stakes.
Others from Roses In Paris were Pete’s Elect 1:51.6 ($118,055), the Golden Nursery and Southern Cross winner King Grin 1:56.7 ($111,166) and Mount Gambier Gold Cup victor Paris To Berlin – her 12th foal.
A $5,000 Victorian yearling sale purchase, Roses In Paris was by Kentucky (1:57 son of Tar Heel) from Scarlet Sunrise, by Garry Rowan from the Scottish Hanover mare Machree, and tracing to the wonderful taproot mare Parisienne.
