TRAINER Gary Hall Sr insists Beaudiene Boaz is the best horse in Australia and should be favourite for the Perth Inter Dominion.
And, the champion trainer went further by declaring Beaudiene Boaz “better than Im Themightyquinn at the same age.”
The gushing praise comes after Beaudiene Boaz’s arrogant first-up win at Gloucester Park last Friday week.
And we will see him action again this Friday night at the same track.
“There’s no doubt Beaudiene Boaz has gone to another level this campaign,” Hall Sr said. “While he doesn’t have the sheer brilliance of Quinny, he’s tougher and an all-round better horse at the same stage.
“He’s the horse they all have to beat in the Inter Dominion.
“I’m not scared of anything.
“I’m taking a line through Lovers Delight, who really stretched Lennytheshark in last year’s final. Beaudiene Boaz is at least a five length better horse than Lovers Delight at his very best.
“If Boaz leads, there’s not a horse anywhere who could beat him around Gloucester Park.”
Beaudiene Boaz in into $9 fourth favourite in Aussie markets for the Inter Dominion with Lennytheshark ($5), Hectorjayjay ($6) and Have Faith In Me ($7) the only horses ahead of him.
Hall Sr gave Beaudiene Boaz a rest last Friday to give his other open-class stars a chance to win one.
Underlining the strength in his open-class ranks, Hall still snared the trifecta with Run Oneover beating Cyamach and Waylade.
“I thought I’d give our others a chance this week. Run Oneover has really improved this time in work and he’s now my second-best horse,” Hall Sr said.
“We all got excited about Waylade when he rushed through the classes, but he’s struggled at the top level. I don’t think he’s quite up to it.
“Even My Hard Copy, as good as his record is, isn’t quite up to the best horses either. Run Oneover is better than him.”
My Hard Copy returned with lacklustre effort when third-last in the free-for-all last Friday.
