Follow The Stars & Sweet Lou are set to dominate this weekends group 1 action from Gloucester Park.
It’s incredible that two first season sires look like leading the way in the west as both had small crops in their first season at stud.
Sweet Lou was due to breeders not understanding his pedigree and Follow The Stars because he was racing and an injury sent him to stud late in the season.
Trainers from WA, SA and VIctoria are really excited about the prospects of these two up and coming sires in our sport.
Yearling buyers who are chasing a horse with the ability to compete at the highest level, and that can show electric gate speed whilst still settling in a race, are in luck at this Sunday ‘s APG sale.
Mick Holtham who runs the team at Allwood and told us “ We are so excited about the sale this weekend. This batch of 25 Yearlings just have us so enthusiastic about the future of harness racing in WA”.
For buyers that like to do their inspections on Saturday, Mick will have all his consignment of yearlings available for inspection from 9am.
Judging by the quality of the Yearlings in the photos below, Mick and the team better be ready for a massive day.
