With more than $2.25M in local NSW & VIC prizemoney on offer, the 2022 Neds – APG Sydney Yearling Sale looks set to be the most exciting event seen in years.  This sale, set down for Sunday March 6th from 11am at the Inglis Riverside Stables, Gov Macquarie Drive, Warwick Farm, NSW, 2170 is going to “take sales to the Neds level”.

The sale comprises 161 intoxicating pacing and 10 trotting lots by 35 different stallions including all the champions of our sport.

This is your invitation to be a part of a massive $3.25M “Pot Of Gold” – so please come and celebrate the exciting opportunities now available with us (thanks to Neds) in the sport we love, Harness Racing.  Let’s support the efforts of the phenomenal breeders and consignors in this state, with NSW the home of so many outstanding breeders.

On the subject of outstanding breeders the team from Celestial Standardbreds, run by Phil and Denise Thurston, who are located in Forbes on the banks of the Lachlan River in Central West NSW, are going to be in for a massive weekend.

Celestial Standardbreds will have 7 quality lots, 4 colts and 3 fillies on offer at the Neds – APG Sydney sale – spearheaded by the first foal colt by Bettors Delight out of Gotta Go Jazzy Jet NZ and a first foal filly by Captaintreacherous out of Trilight Brigade NZ and a Fear The Dragon filly out of Group 1 winning mare, Sweet Molly O’Shea NZ.

Phil and Denise take meticulous care of each and every yearling they bring to sales to ensure they have every opportunity to develop their full potential for the prospective new owners.

The combination of these factors, together with a lot of hard work by Denise and Phil, has resulted in their stock being very highly sort after at previous Neds – APG yearling sales. Back in 2019 at the Sydney APG Sale they sold the equal top priced national yearling, their first year of selling under the Celestial Standardbreds banner.

John Coffey has been inspecting all of the NSW yearlings over the last few months and is excited by the draft from Celestial. He will be pleased to answer any questions that you may have on the individuals featuring in the sale, or to bid on your behalf.  John can be contacted on 0418 500 211.

Shannon Lawlor (Sydney) and Ben Lawrence (Sales Executive – NSW  for International Animal Health https://www.iahp.com.au/  will be on hand Friday night to select and award the most sort after garland and product prizes for the best presented filly and colt. This is going to be a hotly contested event and should not be missed. Please come out and support the wonderful work and effort by the team at Harness Breeders NSW that make this a must attend event.

Please contact Linda Graham on 0428 955 998 or via email and she’ll be pleased to assist you with your online registrations, pre-bidding sale approvals or to answer any other questions that you may have on your travel and accommodation needs.
