Svensk Travsport (Swedish Harness Racing Authority) have announced the finalised field for the 2019 World Drivers Championship to be held in Sweden (24 – 31 May 2019).

The twenty ninth edition of the Kusk-VM, or the World Driving Championship, pits drivers from eleven nations and three continents against reigning World Champion, Canada’s James McDonald. The complete field of drivers is :

In a slight change from the previous outline of (24) heats to be held over the duration of the championships, one less heat is being held in Stockholm on Friday 24 May with an additional heat in Galve on the final day, Friday 31 May :

Lindesberg Monday May 27: 5 races
Sundbyholm Tuesday May 28: 5 races

Previous winners of the twenty eight championships include four time champion Norwegian Ulf Thorseen, two time winners Heinz Wewering and Jody Jamieson from Canada while the most successful nation is New Zealand with six wins ahead of Canada with five wins.
