3While there is no racing at Tabcorp Park Menangle this Saturday night, TAB is still offering a $10,000 First 4 Jackpot on the feature race at Bathurst on Saturday night, the Group 2 Shirley Turnbull Memorial for New South Wales customers.

The Shirley Turnbull Memorial is race seven on the program and is scheduled to start at 9:15pm.  HRNSW’s Greg Hayes has analysed the form and has passed on his best bets for the meeting while also providing a suggested First 4 for the Shirley Turnbull Memorial.

Greg expects a couple of the short priced favourites to score on the night including Cyclone Kate and Bling it On so has gone looking for more value for his best bet.  The Mat Rue-trained Fouroeight (race four number two) look sets to provide each way value and from the good draw looks a good upset chance.  The race favourite will be the Belinda McCarthy trained Born To Rocknroll and while his recent trials at Menangle have been strong, the early work he will have to do from his awkward draw may leave him vulnerable in the concluding stages.

Another runner that should provide good each way value on the night is Warner (race nine number ten).  The Peter Trevor-Jones trained gelding has not had much luck recently since winning at Bathurst in November.  He looks well placed in the event and the second row draw should see him burrow through into a handy position.
