The Victorian Square Trotters Association is proud to announce a fundraiser in support of Connor Clarke and his treatment for lymphoma.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Rick and Janne Burchell (the VSTA major sponsor), we will be raffling a service to the exciting new stallion, Blitzthemcalder to be drawn on Redwood Day.
Blitzthemcalder was an outstanding racehorse winning 5 Group 1 races and was named the 2YO Trotter of the Year in 2012 and 3YO Trotter of the Year in 2013.
Being the son of the successful pacing sire Metropolitan and out of a Balance Image mare, Blitzthemcalder is a suitable consort for both trotting and pacing broodmares.
Also, Alex and Simon Pearce of the Golder Plains Vet Practice are offering to waive all veterinary costs for the first breeding cycle of the successful broodmare.
Tickets will be available during the Redwood Carnival at Maryborough or by contacting VSTA Secretary, Ian White (0417 385 113) at $5 each or 5 for $20. All proceeds will be going directly to the fund-raising for Connor’s treatment.
Rick and Janne Burchell will also donate the deposit for bookings made, and paid for, to Blitzthemcalder over the Redwood Carnival. So if you are interested in booking your mare to this exciting stallion, please remember that your $150 deposit which will go towards this fundraising effort.
