Friends are mourning the passing of long-time harness racing trainer Barry Elmer, a trots participants of more than 40 years.
Barry trained from Tulla Downs in a career that precedes record keeping, but since 1980-81 the trainer’s 539 starters produced 18 wins, while he also had more than 100 starts as a reinsman.
