THE harness racing industry is mourning the loss of former horseman Albin Stefanic who passed away on Tuesday, aged 78.

For more than 20 years, Albin sold and manufactured sulkies and harness racing gear around Australia.

Albin was also a successful trainer and driver for many years, enjoying success with horses such as Tadpole and Mighty Falcon to name a couple.

A funeral for Albin will be held on Monday March 5 at St Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church, Marayong at 11am.

Harness Racing New South Wales extends sincere condolences to Albin’s family and friends.
