Following a detailed review, the HRSA Board are pleased to confirm the following changes to the 2017 UBET SA Cup which will be held on Saturday 7 January 2017.
Firstly the Cup will be reverting back to its traditional distance of 2645 metres.
This also means that the Cup will start in the front straight at Globe Derby Park which adds to the excitement of the race. Secondly the race will be a seeded barrier draw.
In addition, the Board re-affirmed the prizemoney level of $100,000 for the UBET SA Cup and its Group 1 status.
