The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will stage a strong nine race program this Saturday night.
Highlights include the $20,000 Rising Stars Championship Final plus an intriguing trotter’s event which features several in-form runners.
The Quest Breakfast Creek Apartments Trotters Handicap is scheduled as the final event on the card but promises to be highly entertaining with the state’s best trotter, Our Overanova starting from a 40m handicap while the emerging Releven Dream starts from the front.
Unbeaten in both local starts since coming north from Sydney, the Daren Garrard trained trotter hasn’t started since winning in track record time for 2647m (2:00.8) back in September.
Saturday night’s event will be staged over 2138m.
Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $30,000 trifecta pool on the opening race.
And it’s a race boasting several in-form runners, in fact, 4 of the 12 starters are last start winners including last week’s impressive winner Packnplenty.
The former New South Wales trained pacer scored in a fast time of 1:55.1 for the 1660m event.
Just recently, the Shane Graham prepared pacer became a member of the $100,000 club.
A Quadrella jackpot of $10,000 is also scheduled – the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.
UBET are also offering $500 First 4 carryovers on every race.
