Good Form’s Blake Redden joined Nadia Horne on RSN’s Winners this morning to review Friday night’s Tabcorp Park Melton trots meeting.
The meeting featured five-year-old Cyclone Jeter, a son of Majestic Son, notching a narrow win in the Group 3 Allied Express Transport Lightfoot Laurels for trotting mares, while the brilliant Ponder five-year-old Tee Cee Bee Macray produced his best to win the TAB.com.au Blacks A Fake Free for All in 1:53.9 over 1720m.
Swedish born monte rider turned trots all-rounder Kima Frenning picked up her first metropolitan success in the sulky via Emma Stewart-trained Village Jasper gelding Solarsonic, which led all the way in the Pointon Partners Pace.
Emma Stewart actually finished with a winning treble, while Kerryn Manning has Ameretto absolutely flying and won again aboard the five-year-old Million Dollar Cam mare in the SEW Eurodrive Melton Cup Final over 2240m, rating 1:54.5.
