Hobby trainer Geoff Lucas has already enjoyed one hell of a ride with rejuvenated pacer Bernie Winkle and he’s hoping the new Mildura marvel can join a select group of horses in coming weeks.
Since 2000, only 73 standardbreds have produced winning streaks of 10 races or more and the seven-year-old can move to within one of that mark with victory tonight.
