Once again, the Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong ten race program this Saturday night.
And again punters have the chance to win big with gambling giant UBET offering a huge $100,000 guaranteed trifecta pool on the opening race.
A jackpot component of $25,000 is also programmed for the opening race.
The Vale Keith Addison Pace, a 2138m mobile start event has drawn together a very competitive field of pacers with many facing a huge class drop after competing in several of the feature events during the recent Brisbane winter carnival.
Key runners include Alleluia, Applause, Broadway Playboy, Uncle Lile and Jackaroo Bromac among others.
A numbers of runners are backing-up from last week’s Redcliffe Gold Cup which was taken out by Five Card Draw and tactics will prove crucial with a numbers of starters.
The Grant Dixon trained duo of Alleluia and Applause have drawn the front-line and should race handy to the speed while Uncle Lile and Jackaroo Bromac both face second-line draws.
Leading trainer Vicki Rasmussen prepares a trio of chances including Goulburn Guy, Ohoka Colorado and Jackaroo Bromac.
Stable reinsman Shane Graham will partner the well-drawn Goulburn Guy while Dean Cernovskis handles Ohoka Colorado with concession reinsperson Dannielle McMullen booked to drive Jackaroo Bromac.
Race three, the Rio Meteor Sulky Open Pace over the 1660m features a number of quality performers including Condagen, Ideal Scott, Mach Alert and Majestic Mach.
Condagen has been switched to the stables of Dean Cernovskis following his second placing in the Redcliffe Cup last week where Majestic Mach finished 4th after carrying a flat tyre for the majority of the event while the Ian Gurney trained duo of Ideal Scott and Mach Alert will both be formidable forces.
A guaranteed $20,000 Quadrella pool is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.
Most legs of the quaddie appear open and loaded with chances which could easily provide value for punters.
UBET are also offering a guaranteed $10,000 trifecta pool on the third race while guaranteed $2000 First 4 pools are programmed for races 4, 5, 6 & 7.
