An exceptionally strong line-up of race-winning mares and winner-producing mares will anchor the Australian Pacing Gold sale to be held at the Magic Millions, Gold Coast on Sunday, January 28.
Of the 85 lots to be presented, 55 are out of race winners and 45 are from winner-producers including a swag of ‘black type’ performers.
Heading the list of race-winning dams are the NZ Sires Stakes 2YO Championship victor Joanne’s A Delight, the QBred Triad winners Aqua Miss and She’s A Lefty, Bridget Blue Chip NZ (1:51.4), the NSW Breeders Challenge winner New York Fashion, Chevron’s Reward NZ (1:51.1), Mathilda Diventa (Redcliffe Sales Classic), Reaza Grunter NZ (1:50.8), Come Cullect (1:52) and Divinia Bellezza NZ.
The 45 winner-producing dams in the catalogue have left 129 individual winners between them.
Indigenous Art, the dam of the NSW Golden Mile winner Jimmy Locke (1:50.1); Kidabout, who left the QSBA Classic winner Modern Day; Paris Highlight, dam of the Albion Park Gold winner Balboa Rock; and She’s A Lefty, dam of the Paleface Adios Classic winner Left To Ponder, are the most prolific broodmares with six winners apiece.
Among the list of winners out of the dams represented in the catalogue are the QBred Triad winners Jewel Melody, Speak The Truth, Jiggle And Jive, Quik Change and Aunty Bella, the APG Brisbane Sales Graduate winner Pinup Boy, Uncle Shank (1:49.4), Hold Onto Ya Bling (Paleface Adios Classic), Firebolt (QBred For Life 2YO), Kashed Up (1:51.1) and Sally Fletcher (1:51.6).
The dams represented are sisters or half-sisters to horses the calibre of the sensational unbeaten NZ filly Millwood Nike ($690,932), the million dollar winners Jack’s Legend, Thefixer and Frith, I Am Sam ($531,702), the Victoria Ladyship Cup winner Our Golden Goddess, the QBred Triad winners Maximillion, Making Magic, Bay Of Eagles and General Bronski, Catch A Lefty (QLD Derby), Heavens Trend (NSW Breeders Challenge), Bettor Bet Black ($455,808), Distant Memory (Bathurst Gold Tiara) and Our Major Mama (WA Oaks).
