Trots fans are saddling up for a huge week of action, which will coincide with the gallops’ Melbourne Cup Carnival.
It all kicks off Monday night (Cup Eve) at Terang with Ladies Night before a double-header on Cup Day at Yarra Valley and Cobram.
The annual Yarra Valley meeting will see thousands of people flock to Yarra Glen racecourse to enjoy the flavours and colour of the region, the picturesque course hosting an eight-race trots card.
Cobram’s picnic Cup Day program will be a non-TAB race meeting and the well patronised program always has a relaxed feel to it.
Swan Hill goes racing on Melbourne Cup Night and Yarra Valley bursts back into life on Oaks Day Thursday.
Next Saturday, Stakes Day in the gallops world, the trots spotlight turns to Bendigo at night for the annual Anniversary Cup program.
