Warrawee Needy is standing his first season in Australia at Yirribee Stud near Wagga Wagga.

Warrawee Needy won 29 races on the track and over $1.25 millionUS, today we will take a in-depth look at his pedigree.

E Dees Cam, Warrawee Needy’ssire was the fastest horse in the US in 2003 rating 1.48.3.

E Dee Cam won 27 times, 13 seconds and 16 thirds from 97 starts and earnings of $864,767US over six seasons on the track.

E Dees Cam won the prestigious Dan patch Invitational a race which has a honour roll of who’s who in US pacing world including Jennas Beach Boy, Pacific Fella, Cammibest, Artistic Fella, Mister Big, Shark Gester, Sweet Lou and this year Wiggle It Jiggle It.

Warrawee Needy’s material side is very strong currently out of a unraced Apache Flame mare called Great Memories who has also left Big Bay Point 1.49 and over half a million in prize money.

Great Memories is a daughter of Save the Memories  1:52.4 ($304,285) who has left Savor The Memory 1:52.1f ($677,246), Major Memory 1:51.2s ($312,697), Memory In Motion 1:53.2f (206,806) and So Many Memories ($85,907).

Save the Memories is a full sister toIdylwoodBonnie  the dam of Rambaran 1:50.2s ($1,163,139), Cambaran ($295,893) and Idylwood Legend ($200,864) the dam of the champion two-year-old Lady Craceful ($1,113,376), Devils Ivy ($489,287), Princess Callie ($303,977).

 

Rambaran (by Western Hanover)  1:50.2s ($1,163,139) is now a very good sire in Canada leaving the winners of over $30,000,000 to date from just 660 foals  He is the sire of 7 in better than 1:50 and has produced 90 winners of over $100,000 to date including Ramegade Bruiser 1:49.4 ($1,196,776).

 

Warrawee Needy has a great race record becoming the fastest horse in the world at the Meadowlands rating 1:46.4  in the $50,000 elimination of The William Haughton Memorial, beating Golden Receiver 1:48m ($2,211,643), the richest horse in history Foiled Again 1:48f ($7,416,382), Razzle Dazzle 1:49f ($1,017,899), Hugadragon 1:49.3f ($934,834), Sapphire City 1:49.4f ($1,160,317), A Rocknroll Dance 1:47.2s ($2,441,164), Our Lucky Chip 1:48.2s ($602,889) and Heston Blue Chip 1:48f ($1,779,373) in that order.

 

Warrawee Needyserved over 130 mares in his first season at stud in Canada this year, he was test bred in 2013 and two of foals sold for up to $50,000 at the 2015 yearling sales one of those foals is now Warrawee Speedy who won in 1.57.1at Hiawatha Horse Park the fastest 2yo time of the season thus far in Canada on a 1000 metre track..
