A blistering pink-and-black Missile Silky is the grand piece on the stunning showcase that is driving dollars into the McGrath Foundation.
Trainer/driver Donna Castles is again leading the fundraiser through her now annual raffle and, not surprisingly, trots participants are again digging deep and pitching in to help sell tickets.
Already people at the trots can approach Jodi Quinlan, Emma Hamblin, Michael Bellman, Rebecca Bartley, Lisa Bartley, Laura Crossland, David Moran, Lisa Miles and Monique Burnett to purchase tickets in Victoria.
“It’s wonderful to see so many people willing to help out and I’m not surprised because they’re all great people,” Castles said.
“I urge everyone to buy a ticket or two and try to win this wonderful Missile Sulky (valued at $6050). Funds raised are obviously going to a fantastic and important cause.”
The raffle will be drawn at the Cobram trots meeting – Racecourse & Recreation Reserve, Racecourse Rd – on Thursday May 4 at 4.30pm.
Results will be published on www.harness.org.au, at the Cobram Facebook page and in the Cobram Courier.
