Caribbean Blaster will stand his third season at stud in 2016/17 at the nursery of champions Yirribee Stud near Wagga.

 

The former four time Group1 winner served over 100 mares in his first season and another strong book last season.

 

On the racetrack Caribbean Blaster was an outstanding racehorse winning the Victoria Cup,The Chariots of Fire, The Breeders Crown and who could ever forget his victory over Smokin Up in the 2013 SA Cup.

 

Now in breeding barn reports are thatCaribbean Blaster has stamped his progeny like himself strong and magnificent looking individuals.

 

By champion sire Bettors Delight who’s progeny have just taken out the Jug double in Delaware with LA Delight winning the Juggette on Wednesday and Betting Line took out the 71st running of the little Brown Jug.

 

Caribbean Blaster boosts a strong material line his damKalypso 2:00.8 ($30,110) has also produced such smart types Protikora 1:59 ($212,109) who took out the  Newcastle Oaks and erby as a three-year-old  and Kalypson Kid 1:56.4 ($125,351). The 2011 Tasmanian Easter Cup (Group 3) winner

 

Kalypso is a half-sister to six winners including the classy Grand Stride 1:52.4 ($324,658) The APG and NSW Breeders Challenge winner as a three-year-old while his third dam Willing Whiz (winner of  Bathurst Gold Tiara at 2 and NSW Sires Stakes at 3)  has left nine winners including smart types such as Heezgotattitude 1:56.8 ($157,987) and Zaneden 1:56.6 ($123,500).

 

Caribbean Blaster is also closely related to Charlaval the winner of this year’s NSW Breeders Challenge at Group1 also in this family is Rohan Home and 2006 2YO of the year Cuttheattitude.
