MEMBERS of Team APG are out to continue their perfect start to the season at Albion Park tomorrow night.
Three races for two-year-olds have been conducted in the Sunshine State this term, with Australian Pacing Gold purchases win all three.
Springfield Desire and Maywyn Tough filled the quinella in the first event before the latter accounted for another APG graduate, Maywyn No Regrets, in the following juvenile race.
The three are prepared by prominent horseman Graham Dwyer.
Miss Moneybags, trained and driven by Grant Dixon, rounded out the APG hat-trick earlier this week.
As for the upcoming program, Springfield Desire, Maywyn Tough, Maywyn No Regrets and Miss Moneybags will clash in the Paleface Adios Classic over 1660 metres.
Also an APG buy, Saint Kilda Beach will make her debut in the feature
Maywyn Tough has fared best in the pole, with Dwyer confident the son of Pet Rock can lead throughout.
“He’s done everything right so far and looks to be my best chance from the draw,” Dwyer said.
“He has the speed to lead, and although he may be better suited to racing with a sit, we’ll be taking advantage of the pole.”
