Despite only six races being held, a large crowd still turned out for Scottsdale’s premier sporting event, the North Eastern Pacing Cup, taken out by the Rohan Hillier-trained and reigned Miss Papenhuyzen.
Hobart hosted a strong nine-race card on Sunday, where Dylan Ford continued his good recent form.
Interstate, Tasmanian owner Mick Maxfield tasted great success after Max Delight scored in the Bendigo Pacing Cup.
Saturday night racing returns this week for the Listed Hardings Group Devonport Pacing Cup in Launceston before the Tier Two meeting of the week in Hobart on Sunday.

Dylan Ford – in-form reinsman drove trebles at both the Scottsdale and Hobart cards, with five of those winners being prepared by trainer Tammy Langley.
Rohan Hillier -claimed another North Eastern Pacing Cup with Miss Papenhuyzen before claiming the Matron Stakes in Hobart with Lil Ripper.
Lynryd Skynryd – made the Brighton Cup a survival of the fittest and was able to score by a narrow margin.
Olivia Weidenbach – returned to the sulky on Sunday after a suspension and made her presence felt with a double, including the E. C. Plunkett Memorial with Messerati.
