As the winner of the 2016 Garrard’s Junior Concession Driver Challenge, Stuart McDonald is the West Australian representative for the 2016 NSW Rising Stars Series being conducted this week.
After an unlucky start to the Rising Stars Series, with his allocated drives in the first two races being scratched and unable to participate, Stuart is making up ground after a win with A LIFE UNDER FIRE NZ and fifth place with MISTER BIG SHOOT yesterday (22 June).
Stuart has been driving for four seasons and has an impressive seventy one wins for this season, and we are both proud and excited to have him participating in NSW Rising Stars Series on behalf of WA.
His career started with trainer Greg Schofield and more recently Stuart has joined the Ross Olivieri stable. Proving his potential in the last season as one of WA’s leading young drivers, Stuart was rewarded for his effort by gaining the drive behind Our Blackbird throughout the 2015 TABtouch Inter Dominion Series.
We look forward to seeing Stuart driving in the upcoming days as the series continues and wish him the best of luck for another win.
