MELBOURNE Cup winner owners Ozzie Kheir and Karlos Farah now want to the win the Miracle Mile.
That’s their inspiration behind today buying a share in exciting mare Arms Of An Angel, the only mare in Sunday week’s $750,000 Group 1 Miracle Mile at Tabcorp Park Menangle.

Farah confirmed today he had Kheir had bought a share from Zac Cornell, who plucked Arms Of An Angel out of NZ and has raced her to seven wins and last Saturday’s amazing Chariots Of Fire third placing from just eight Aussie starts.

Kheir and Farah climbed racing’s biggest ownership mountain when they were part-owners in 2014 Melbourne Cup winner Protectionist.

Arms Of Angel was privately-timed to run a 1min47.9sec mile after galloping in the score and missing the start in last Saturday night’s Chariots Of Fire.

Her effort to come from last, be four and five deep on the final bend and still run a 25.7sec closing quarter was extraordinary.

Farah has been a major player in Victoria through major shares in pacers like: Im Corzin Terror, Chilli Palmer, Magical Telf and Macha.

Arms Of An Angel is attracting support at $8 on the Aussie TAB in pre barrier draw Miracle Mile betting.

Beautide remains a $2.80 favourite from Have Faith In Me ($3.50 into $3.20 since winning the Chariots) and Lennytheshark ($3.60).

The barrier draw will be held between races at Menangle on Saturday night.
