SA ANNOUNCE EXCITING NEW RACE
Harness Racing SA, in conjunction with Allwood Stud Farm, announce that a new race has been added to the 2020-21 SA racing season calendar.
The race, to be known as the `Allwood Stud Farm Futurity’ will carry a stake of $20,000, and will be conducted in August 2021.
The race will be restricted to only those yearlings passing through the ring at the 2020 Allwood Stud Farm SA Yearling Sale.
The South Australian harness racing industry is again most grateful to Bob and Marilyn for the outstanding support shown in assisting with, not only this new initiative, but also the Allwood Stud Farm SA Yearling Sale and the Group One `The Allwood’,
The Allwood Stud Farm Futurity offers those looking at purchasing a yearling at this weekend’s sale with an additional incentive to become involved, with, what is turning out to be, an extremely successful annual sale. There now being 13 individual winners coming out of the first sale held in 2018. This being an outstanding 41% success rate.
For those contemplating purchasing a yearling we welcome you to the Magic Millions complex at Morphettville this Sunday 15th March.
The sale, which commences at 12:05pm, is preceded by a parade of the yearlings on offer, with this commencing at 10:00am.
