IT APPEARS to be as simple as another one down, bring on the next one with quality mare Rocknroll Baby.

Racing in devastating form, the trotter has dominated the country cup scene in recent weeks, including last night’s feature at Port Pirie.

No sooner had the four-year-old captured the event than trainer Greg Norman turned his attention to the next one on the list – Victor Harbor on Saturday night.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled with her,” Norman said. “That’s her fifth Cup this season and there are still more to go.

“She will go to Victor Harbor next, then Mildura after that.

“If she keeps going the way she is, there is no reason why she can’t win both.”

Driven by regular reinsman Jock Dunlop, Rocknroll Baby was sent forward to find the lead from her 20-metre mark.

Never seriously challenged from that point, the daughter of Rock N Roll Heaven scored by three metres from Chuck Wagon, with Truscott Law two-and-a-half metres away third.

Rating 2:04.4 over 2530 metres, Rocknroll Baby stretched her record to 15 wins and 10 placings from 50 starts.

“Jock never had to pull the hood and she won quite well,” Norman said. “She knocks off a bit when she gets out on her own, but she got to the line strongly enough.”
