Reinsman Will Rixon is just nine wins away from reaching a personal best season.
The in-form 22-year-old has had a strong start to the year and after driving four winners at Canberra on Monday and a big-priced winner at Menangle yesterday, boasts 74 wins for the term.
Last season was Rixon’s best on record where he rounded out the term with 83 winners.
Rixon’s efforts this season have put him in second position on the NSW Drivers’ Premiership.
With more than 20 wins separating him and the premiership leader, Cameron Hart, Rixon will be looking to narrow the gap at Bathurst tonight.
Rixon will head west for two drives, all for trainer Jye Stanford. This includes Ideal Heaven in race six and Lets Turn It On in race seven.
