6The Nyah Harness Racing Club has teamed with the Northern Standardbred Riding Group for its 2015 stallion tender.

The club invited the Northern Standardbred Riding Group, which retrains off the track Standardbreds under the care of Tanya McDermott, to join and be a recipient of 10 per cent of the club’s profit from the annual stallion tender.

“While we like to promote breeding with our stallion tender, we also recognise the need for life after racing for our horses,” said Nyah Harness Racing Club’s Gerry Moloney.

Eight pacers and four trotters comprise the tender, with service fees ranging from $1320 to $6600.

Tenders close next Friday, September 25.

Stallions, in service fee order, are: Sweet Lou, Angus Hall, He’s Watching, Lucky Chucky, Four Starzzz Shark, Pegasus Spur, Highview Tommy, Hurrikane Kingcole, Village Jolt, Peak, Restrepo and Julius Caesar.
